FAQs

What does SHIFT do?

Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is home to a vibrant community of innovators. It is a place of growth, creativity and opportunity, driven by the knowledge of local people. SHIFT is the network that connects everything together, with a mandate to accelerate innovation that transforms how we live in cities. Our role is to build connections, curate opportunities and facilitate access: helping innovators prove their local and global potential; sparking collaboration between local organisations across the public, private, academic and community sectors; shaping inclusive innovation and development so it meets the needs of everyone in the local community; and creating a better future for people in east London while attracting new employers, workers and residents.

Where is SHIFT based?

Our home is east London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park – a real-world testbed across 560 acres. The SHIFT team work from 5 Endeavour Square, where we are housed by London Legacy Development Corporation.
