Seventeen pioneering businesses, ranging from material reuse studios to zero-waste dining are creating jobs, redesigning systems, and cutting waste, all in a space built around support and collaboration.
Focusing on rapid, affordable, and sustainable repurposing, activities include Research and Development, partnerships, community events, and projects like the Textile Reuse Hub and Sustainable Young Makers.

The Loop has supported resident businesses to grow, creating twelve new jobs and an average revenue growth of £25k so far, all while significantly reducing landfill waste.
Hosting events for local residents and businesses, the Loop is a thriving example of a local circular economy hub.
In 2025, the Loop was nominated as a finalist for the Innovation in Politics Awards.

The Future Industries Demonstrator (FID) is a mission-led scale-up programme focused on supporting London-based enterprises who are working on innovative solutions to tackle the climate crisis.
It focuses on the real problems that citizens face in east London and the market solutions that, with investment and tailored support, will accelerate our collective transition to Net Zero and fairer economies.
FID provides pioneering SMEs with financial backing, as well as linking them to collaborative networks, workspaces and local knowledge resources that give them the best chance to succeed.
